L’Oreal Appoints New French CEO

L’Oreal SA appointed Jean-Paul Agon to succeed departing British chief executive officer Lindsay Owen-Jones. The company has added a Frenchman for first time in almost two decades. The appointment of Mr. Agon was formally approved at the company’s annual shareholder meeting in Paris. Mr. Agon has headed L’Oreal’s U.S. arm since 2001 and joined the Paris-based company after graduating from France’s HEC management school in 1978....
